                    As 

           a child, I wanted to be a writer or a therapist. In college, I studied English writing and then became a writer and editor for various publications. For several years, I traveled extensively, interviewed lots of people, and did what I love---create stories. But something was missing from my career. 

I discovered that missing piece through volunteer work at a domestic violence shelter, where I worked with children and their mothers. Through this work, I learned that connecting with others and walking alongside them during a time of change and growth is my passion. This instigated

For several years, I traveled extensively, interviewed lots of people, and did what I love---create stories. But something was missing from my career. 

As

my return to school, earning a master’s degree in social work in 2005, and then becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Today, I do what I love.  I'm passionate about helping you, help yourself. This may mean helping you find your missing piece---whether it’s reconnecting with your partner, feeling calmer and more at peace, or getting past your past.
